The Gorgon is one of the Monsters in evolve.
Summary[]
Gorgon is a devious, hideous killer who enjoys watching her prey struggle. Her ranged attacks can deal damage over time and are menacing when focused on a single Hunter. Traversing across the map quickly with her Web Sling, Gorgon can also stick to walls and hide or rain down attacks from above.
The Gorgon despite the name is more identical to spiders than snakes with her ability to ensnare prey in webs, ability to web sling and cling to walls, her overall appearance, and ability to create spider minions with the spider trap ability. The Gorgon is pretty powerful, but the Web Sling is perhaps the most useful of the skillset, as it allows the Gorgon to traverse far faster than other monsters.
Abilities[]
The Gorgon has four main abilities, which can be upgraded throughout the course of play. For strategy and tips, see sections below.
- Web Snare - Fires a sticky trap, sticking the Hunters where they stand.
- Spider Trap - Lay these traps to spawn spiders that will trap hunters and drag them away dealing damage to them overtime.
- Acid Spit - Gorgon sprays acid over an area that deals a fairly large amount of damage over time.
- Mimic - Gorgon creates a copy of herself that's made of web and can control it like a puppet to attack enemies, when its either destroyed, runs out of time, or is ended prematurely it will cause a explosion.
