|Main Weapon:||Custom Shotgun|
Stasis Grenades do a good job controlling a Monster's movement while Abe's Custom Shotgun deals significant damage. Shoot a Tracker Dart into the Monster to make it easy to follow it when it runs away. Shoot a dart into the wildlife and if the Monster eats it, it'll be outlined too!
Summary[edit | edit source]
Meet Abe. He doesn’t have some exotic pet helping him track prey, nor is he some grizzled vet that’s eager for his next big hunt. He’s just really tricky. Abe’s a bounty hunter – a smuggler, a thief and potentially the sneakiest Hunter of the bunch.
Weapon Loadout[edit | edit source]
Abe is a trapper by trade, meaning that the following loadout is focused on controlling the Monster, leaving heavy damage to the rest of the team.
- Custom Shotgun Damage: High - Heavily modified and powerful shotgun for large game. Rapid fire for wide spread, slow trigger pull for small spread.
- Tracking Dart Gun Damage: None - Dart rifle that deploys a tracking device able to show the general location of the Monster. You can also tag wildlife that track a Monster that eats them.
- Stasis Grenades Damage: None - Temporarily slows movement from any of the Monster, or wildlife.
- Mobile Arena Damage: None - Energy dome that traps the Monster and Hunters inside.
Strategic Role Summary[edit | edit source]
Abe is primarily a slowing force - whereas almost all the other Trappers can use a variety of items to stop the Monster, Abe's primary role is to slow the movement of the Monster through the use of his Stasis Grenades. A well-coordinated strike using these grenades can shift the balance of power in a fight towards the Hunters, and should be considered an indispensable part of a high-damage, trap-oriented strike force.
