Medic Class[edit | edit source]
The Medic is is the lifeline of every team. Without a Medic, most encounters with the monster would be a lot shorter and a lot more final. But that's why they're here - Val, with her steadily healing Medgun and disabling Tranquilizer Gun, Lazarus with his Personal Cloak and powerful Lazarus Device, and Caira's multifunctional Grenade Launcher and Acceleration Field, are all on the field to make sure the team is able to stay in the fight long after they should have gone down. Though the Medics are all able to contribute significantly to combat as well, their main role in life is making sure that their teammates stay alive, and for this, their Healing Burst only sweetens the deal.
Healing Burst[edit | edit source]
Every Medic is equipped with a Healing Burst, in addition to their given tools of choice. When used, it provides an instant burst of health to the Medic and nearby allied Hunters. Useful as a last-second save or for topping off multiple wounded allies, it's also a very important tool for most Medics who have no other way of healing themselves.
Tips[edit | edit source]
- Each Medic plays differently, and requires a different approach to positioning and timing.
- The Healing Burst has a relatively low cooldown, and you'll more than likely be able to use it multiple times per fight, so don't be afraid to use it in a situation you're unsure of.
- Always remember to top off your allies while between encounters with the Monster, even if you have to use your Healing Burst to do it. It's always a good idea to have everyone enter combat at full health.
- Attempt to use it as much as possible to keep the team healthy for wildlife and monster encounters
